San Cristóbal de las Casas.- Pastores evangélicos denunciaron este jueves que elementos de la Agencia Federal de Investigación (AFI) desmantelaron en las últimas horas seis radios cristianas en los municipios de Mapastepec, Villa las Rosas, Comitán y Frontera Comalapa, en Chiapas. Evangelical pastors denounced this Thursday that elements of the Federal Agency of Investigation (AFI) dismantled en the last few hours 6 Christian radio stations in the municipalities of Mapastepec, Villa las Rosas, Comitan, and Frontera Comalapa, in Chiapas.

Los religiosos consideraron los hechos como una ofensiva del Gobierno federal contra las radios evangélicas, por lo que anunciaron el inicio a partir de este viernes de un movimiento de resistencia civil para evitar más desmantelamientos de instalaciones radiales. The religious leaders considered the acts to be a federal government offensive against the evangelical radio stations, and so announced beginning this Friday, a civil resistance movement to try and avoid any more radio stations from being dismantled.
"En este momento, todas las organizaciones evangélicas están retirando sus frecuencias del aire para iniciar las movilizaciones en Chiapas. At this moment, all the evangelical organizations are removing their frequencies from the air, in order to initiate the varied mobilizations to take place in Chiapas.


"Vamos a iniciar una resistencia civil en todo el estado, vamos a defender las radios; por eso hacemos un llamado a los Gobiernos federal y estatal a que cesen esos operativos, porque de lo contrario se puede violentar la región", advirtió Esdras Alonso González, de la organización "Ejército de Dios". “We are going to initiate civil resistance throughout the state and defend the radio stations. For this reason we are calling the federal and state governments to cease these operations, because if they don’t, the region may experience violence,” warned Esdras Alonso Gonzalez, of the organization Ejercito de Dios” of Alas de Aguila.

En entrevista, señaló que una buena parte de la población chiapaneca es evangélica y considera el asunto de las radios de "interés de todos los movimientos cristianos". In an interview, he said that a large part of the Chiapas population is evangelical and considers the situation of the radio stations to be “of interest to all the Christian denominations”.

Alonso González aseguró que ayer fueron desmanteladas tres radios cristianas en los municipios de Villa las Rosas, Comitán y Frontera Comalapa, y este jueves pasó lo mismo con otras tres en el municipio de Mapastepec, en la costa de Chiapas. Alonso Gonzalez affirmed that yesterday 3 radio stations were dismantled in the municipalities of Villa la Rosas, Comitan, and Frontera Comalapa, and that this Thursday the same occurred in 3 other municipalities in Mapastepec, on the Chiapas coast.

Además, dijo, han identificado a personal de la AFI en la región de Los Altos, por lo que temen el desmantelamiento de más radiodifusoras.
